Plans continue to come together for the Fringe this year, with lots of hard work from a dedicated team of volunteers and co-ordinators. One headline act we can announce now is Andy Kershaw, who will be at the Civic Hall on Friday 8 June at 6pm to talk about his autobiography ‘No Off Switch’ and his years as a prominent radio and television presenter. If African drumming and dance are your thing, then come to see Hamana on Thursday 7 June, also at the Civic Hall.
Besides the inevitable headliners, there will be free music in many of the town’s pubs throughout the week, pop up art galleries galore, workshops in everything from life drawing to juggling, plus much more theatre, comedy and film.
